Day Two - Pictures

After you've finished writing about the formations, raise your hand and your teacher will check to see if what you've written is sufficient. If it is, she will add you to the list. Start working on your other sections.

Mr. Mattson will work with groups of 4-6 to show them how to work with photos. Here are the basic steps:

1. Open up iPhoto. Look for a shared library with Carlsbad Pictures. Drag the ones that illustrate the formations you put in your brochure into your iPhoto Library.

2. When you've found your pictures, open iPhoto. Trim the pictures to focus on the part you're trying to show. Rename the pictures.

3. In Keynote, open the Media Browser and drag each picture you need into your brochure. Resize the picture.

If you need to find more information about the formations, go to this webpage.
