Mrs. Hulburt's Class 9/17/09

1. Today is Constitution Day! You have been reading articles this week about the Constitution. The constitution begins with a Preamble, which is like an introduction. But today, the preamble is all scrambled! Can you unscramble it?

2. Our Founding Fathers are the men who were political leaders and signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Take this quiz to find out which Founding Father you are most like!

3. The Bill of Rights are the first 10 ammendments to the Constitution that list the important rights to the citizens of our country. Can you help rebuild the Bill of Rights for the citizens of Freeville whose computer has crashed?

4. How much have you learned this week in our reading? How much do you already know. Take these quizzes to find out...you might surprise yourself!

5. Blogs:
Read Mrs. Hulburt's Post of the Week and write a comment. You comment should:
a. Tell what you liked about the writing.
b. Tell something you think can be improved in the writing.

Finish or post a new entry on you blog.

Visit other blogs and leave comments-just like what you would tell them during Writer's
workshop (something good, and something that needs improved or questions that you
have).
